Louise Drysdale

Dance Physiotherapist

Louise Drysdale is a physiotherapist to Queensland Ballet and Queensland Ballet Academy, as well as other touring performances and dancers of all ages and levels. Drysdale has also worked in musculoskeletal private practice for eight years and has a specific interest in prevention, early diagnosis and rehabilitation of bone stress injuries.

Drysdale holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (University of Queensland), Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (LaTrobe, Melbourne) and is a Masters of Medical Research Candidate (Griffith University), where her research passion is bone health in classical ballet dancers.

She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare.
